New Program! Vouchers for Free Lessons. Starting July 1, state vouchers administered by the Florida Department of Health will be available for families with children aged 4 or younger, provided their income does not exceed 200% of the federal poverty level. Since this is a brand new program, check back for updates!

Drowning Prevention Coalition of PBC. The Drowning Prevention Coalition provides vouchers for free/reduced cost swim lessons for qualified children ages 2-12. Vouchers are provided on a first come / first served basis. A maximum of two vouchers are available per child for their lifetime (3 vouchers if the child is special needs). Second vouchers will be denied if the child does not attend all lessons in the first session.

Hope Floats Swimming Scholarships. Hope Floats partners with high-quality swim schools to provide scholarships for swimming lessons for children. Hope Floats raises money by partnering with individuals, businesses, and foundations that want to be a force for good in their communities.  Scholarships and tuition assistance is provided to children who might not otherwise be able to afford swim lessons.   For scholarship inquiries, please contact us at [email protected].

Free Swim Week at the YMCA. In celebration of National Water Safety month, the YMCA of South Palm Beach County is offering Free Swim Week powered by the Piedt Family Swim Scholarship. Dates: May 28-31, 2024. This program includes FREE 30-minute swim lessons for children who do not know how to swim. Lessons are offered at both our Boynton and Boca YMCA branches. To be considered, you must first complete an online application by May 21st HERE. Space is extremely limited.
