Celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day at Maitland’s Earth Market celebration on Independence Lane.
The event mixes the city’s weekly Farmer’s Market with environmental displays, presentations, food and live music. Stroll through a street full of vendors including plants, flowers, foods, produce and natural products. See birds from the Avian Reconditioning Center.
Grab a free plant or tree courtesy of Duke Energy. Visit the City of Maitland tent for giveaways and some fun and informative environmental chats. WastePro will have a large collection vehicle on display.
Live music will be provided by Performing Arts Matter. Bring the kids for the inflatable slide, bounce house and face painter. Enjoy downtown restaurants such as Brewlando Brewing, Houndstooth Kitchen and Eatery, Parea Greek Taverna, Boku Sushi Maitland and Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream.
