Branches Grow. This is an after-school program for children grades K-5 residing in Florida City, Homestead, North Miami Beach, North Miami and South Miami; creative, fun and challenging activities covering literacy, physical fitness, social skills/character development, homework help, family engagement and nutrition; project-based learning that motivates and inspires; program lays the foundation to make a long-term impact in the lives of children by retaining a high percentage of participants over many years.

Chabad Chayil. After-school program for elementary and middle school children with special needs, and their typically developing peers; program provides 85 slots (80% reserved for special needs participants) and offers evidence-based literacy, reading intervention, math, physical fitness, life skills, homework help, healthy meals and a variety of enrichment activities.

First Step Champions. Serves children ages 5-12 residing in the West Little River area; provides homework help, literacy support, fitness activities, martial arts, social skills development; family involvement encouraged and supported; nutritious food and beverages provided daily.

KIX. After-school services for children in grades K-5 residing in the West Homestead/Florida City and Princeton/Naranja neighborhoods, with or without special needs; program provides homework help, literacy/writing activities, math, physical fitness, social skills, character building, bible club and special family events.

Miami-Dade Parks. We welcome persons with disabilities in all of our facilities, programs and events. We have programs exclusively for children and adults with disabilities run by Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists. We also have an Inclusion Initiative in which we assist children and adults with disabilities in getting involved in typical programs not geared specifically for persons with disabilities.

Shake-a-Leg. A variety of experiential education and recreational programs have been developed for youth with and without disabilities. Programs are offered during school, after school, weekends, vacations and over the summer. Integrating youth of varying abilities creates an ideal environment for them to learn, build character, make friends, and learn how to work together.

Town of Cutler Bay. Serves children residing in Cutler Bay and the surrounding community; provides literacy support and homework help, STEAM (in partnership with Miami Dade College and local nonprofit organization enFAMILIA), arts projects and fitness activities; healthy snack provided.

YMCA of South FloridaOur after school programs provide a fun, safe place for kids to learn, grow and thrive.

Youth Arts in the Parks. Youth Arts in the Parks is an inclusive, socially-oriented arts program for children and youth ages 6-17 with and without disabilities (youth with disabilities welcome up to age 22). This fun and educational program teaches kids of all abilities visual arts, creative movement and expression, or theater/improvisation in an out-of-school social setting. Classes are led by professional artists/art teachers, certified instructors and disability experts.
