It’s splashing season year-round in the Magic City and we’ve got the water parks to prove it! Make sure to arrive early to avoid crowds and pack sunscreen, towels & snacks…

Water Parks

  • Hit up the Romero Brito-themed Grapeland Water Park for a water playground, plunge slide & lazy river. Great for big & little munchkins.
  • Bring mini munchkins to Aventura’s Founders Park .The Founders Park splash pad is located in the north section of the park. This splash pad features wet and wild nozzles, structures, and loops!
  • Dive back in time at the Gables’ 820,000-gallon Venetian Pool. (you must be over 3 to enter).
  • Make a day of it at South Beach’s Flamingo Park. Swim, splash, play some tennis and run around the playground. Come early to avoid the crowds. (pool is closed on Tuesdays)
  • Helen Sands Pool is located in the South Dade Park in Homestead. Little ones at least 12 mos old can play in splashing palm trees, enjoy the zero entry pool, water slide and other amenities.

Splash Pads

  • Murray Park Aquatic Center – Miami. The splash pad and pool at Murray Park Aquatic Center are open from mid-March to mid-September. In addition to the splash pad, features include zero depth entry at the outdoor pool, restrooms, and a locker room. Contact the office to make sure the facilities are open.
  • South Pointe Park Splash Pad – Miami. The South Pointe Park Splash Pad is a motion-activated mini splash zone with water cannons. The park has direct access to the beach, as well as walking trails, a jungle gym, and panoramic views of the South Beach shoreline. Free
  • Westwind Lakes Park – Miami. The free splash pad at Westwind Lakes Park is open only during the summer. The park office can confirm dates for the season. Other facilities at the park include a skate park and volleyball courts.
  • Jacobs Aquatic Center – Key Largo, The activity spray gym at Jacobs Aquatic Center is one of this facility’s main attractions. Visitors can also indulge in three pools and year-round aquatic programs. Admission fees vary by age and day.
  • Village Green – at Key Biscayne. Offers a free tot lot with interactive splash fountain, as well as a community bandstand, restrooms, fountains, and shade pavilion.
  • Doral Legacy Park – The splash pad at Doral Legacy Park is open seasonally (March-November). The park encompasses more than 18 acres with additional activities and features.
